London Weekend

At the beginning of April, my boyfriend and I went to London to celebrate my birthday, we stayed at a hotel in Earl’s court down a quiet road but still near to the tube station.  The location of the hotel was good because it was hidden away, off the busy high street but still close to streets lined with restaurants and shops that were ideal for dinner.

The weather was sunny and hot perfect for walking around London to see all the sights we started with Buckingham Palace and then continued around the city.  We also visited; Nelsons column, Downing Street, Big Ben, The London Eye, The Tower of London and Tower bridge.  Whilst wandering along the river we also saw an artist creating a sand sculpture of a face outside of the This morning studios.  Further along our journey around the city we found the Tate Modern gallery and The Globe Theatre.

On the Sunday we decided to visit the Victoria and Albert Museum to look at the different exhibitions they have on offer there.  I love visiting different museums and being able to absorb the different cultures and interesting exhibits they have on offer there.

Anyone else been for a weekend away recently and recommend other places to visit?

Love,

Holly x
